Marshall Morales focuses his practice on environmental litigation and regulatory compliance. His experience includes contaminated site cleanup, product and chemical regulation compliance, and industrial health and safety litigation. He also has experience litigating and advising clients on waste management issues and chemical exposure laws. Marshall offers clients an extensive technical background in chemistry and biology to better address complex legal questions.
Prior to entering private practice, Marshall served as an Assistant Attorney General for Washington State. From his public service, Marshall gained significant administrative and appellate litigation experience in energy, taxation, and labor matters. He was also a junior Indian law advisor to various state government programs.
Before law school, Marshall worked in urban planning in California and Japan, focused on environmental engineering and remediation.
Marshall serves on the Board of Directors for Environmental Works, one of Washington’s leading community design and affordable housing nonprofits, which supports the homeless, farmworkers, veterans, and Native American communities.
Marshall sits on the Judicial Evaluation Committee of the LGBT Bar Association of Washington, which makes recommendations on judicial candidates to the Governor. Marshall is also an active member of the Latina/o Bar Association of Washington.
